Andy’s Cleaning Service: Mind Your Words is a highly interactive assembly programme that focuses on the power of words – namely inside words (self-talk) and outside words (words said to friends & other people). The show helps students understand how words can shape thoughts, emotions and their friendships.
When Engie begins to hear hurtful voices—both from others and within herself—Andy and his AI companion AL uncover the presence of DOE, a “monster” that spreads negative self-talk and distorted beliefs. Through guided participation, students defeat DOE by learning to challenge negative self-talk, practise self-kindness, and understand the importance of truth, empathy, and responsible communication.
The show aims to support students in developing stronger self-esteem, emotional resilience and kinder communications within their friends. This episode is perfect for schools looking to foster a stronger school culture built on kindness and honest communication.
