Andy’s Cleaning Service: Help Wanted! is a highly interactive assembly programme that focuses on the importance of rest, especially during stressful school periods. The show helps students understand the signs of over-working and the importance of self-care.
As Andy’s cleaning business blooms, he has been working tirelessly around the clock – skipping meals and sleeping less at night. Falling sick suddenly, Engie and AL discover that TRAU, the monster of stress, has taken over Andy’s mind. Seeing how short-tempered and mean Andy becomes, the students help Engie and AL defeat TRAU by learning how to slow down and recharge – such as staying active, seeking help and building their very own self-care routine.
The show helps students to discover the importance of balance between school work and rest, encouraging them to learn how to rest properly and recharge. This episode is perfect for schools looking to create a more student-led mental health support system, where students can lean on each other to navigate through stressful periods in their lives.
